It's genuinely a mystery to me.

What caused our genetics to degrade into this subhuman garbage?

No way nature condemns it's participants to a genetic lottery, by design.

Is it food, gut health, etc. What could've caused this? I refuse to believe we just accumulate genetic mutations.

I think something went wrong during our evolution or we haven't fully evolved yet

the simple fact that a planet can have life is very rare

true, but i dont think that teels the whole story

For example looks at this pack of wolves. Some are more attractive than others. But why? There has to be a mechanism behind it.

Nothing “went wrong” during evolution. It’s not a guided process, there’s no goal or ideal form. Evolution by NS just spits out whatever survives in a given environment, and most species that have ever lived have been eliminated from pool. If things feel off now, its because we're mismatched for our environment. We've broken the cycle and people with shit genes live to spread more shit genes and more shit genes.
I have severe Ulcerative Colitis. In the natural world, I would have died of malnutrition before turning 15 due to it. But I'm a 21st century ape who can take immunosuppresants and has an abundance of nutrients to access even when I'm hemorrhaging them.
As such, I can go on to spread my shitty IBD genes onto my children when I should have been eliminated from the gene pool.

my theory is that humanity is the product of aliens (interdimensional / extra-terrestrial) experimenting on lower life forms for reasons beyond our comprehension. we're too subhuman / dysgenic / artifical to be a sole product of 'nature'

think how we experiment on rats and mice, creating dysgenic abominations in the name of science - I don't see why it's out of the realm of possibilities that a higher form of species could be doing this to us

They all look very similiar to each other though humans on the other hand don't look like each other
