Why? So desperate teenagers flood other channels just to get 500 posts, post a rating then dip?

It doesn't change anything, it'll just lead to spam and this subforum being a shitshow

Even restricting rating to 500+ posts would make the channel dead, you should read the suggestions forum, this gets suggested all the time and is always shot down

I see this all the time on discord, when some servers make something hidden behind an activity wall (like ratings, giveaways, etc.), new members will just come and spam in general then leave forever after they get what they wanted.

It's low quality, no effort, no addiction and no enjoyment for all parties involved

we close the server, that is the solution no more new users I know I am a new user but we can gate keep for as long as possible

It would make a difference if offtopic wasnt as low effort as it already is

Its just a lounge area, more activity would be better, we’ve already lost the entertainment .org had before

I say just make it so that you need to have an account for X amount of days b4 you can post in ratings, or X amount of time on the forum to integrate them as spamming wouldn’t be as effective
