Why be so boring and ordinary when you can be festive and poppin?

Change your name to Jonnald instead. Just think of how much more popular the president would be if his name was Jonnald Trump! Like nobody's ever thought of that. I once new a Chinese business executive who chose the English name Samantha, but tweaked it to "Samanfar" instead cause she thought it sounded better.

People call me with my surname when I'm abroad anyway because it's easy to pronounce. It's Menon.

Disagree. When people find out (they will), you'll be viewed as a perpetual laughing stock

yea but they didn't change it to that, they were given that. Ppl know if you change your name or not, if someone sees that someone changed their name from "pajeet" to "bob", it comes off as embarrassing

"Embarrassing" to the point that the oligarchy that runs America did the same thing to achieve its goals. You're putting yourself at a disadvantage by openly appearing as an outsider.

Asians in the West adopted the same practice and are thriving.

not even. keeping a separate work name from your personal name is way better in business settings.
