I still regret having lived in my household environment

I will forever regret not having lived in a clean, silent and safe environment, it fucked me up for life and i will still think about it before killing myself.

I have never told anyone about what my living conditions at home were, because it would surely have put my family in legal troubles. in terms of cleanliness i would consider them worse than those of certain families that have their house completely filled with trash and that you would see on TV, plus the emotional blackmailing and constant screaming.
your parents may love you but they will still treat your life like a joke and destroy it, like my mother did.

I could have been poorest bastard ever and still have lived a much better life.
I still understand why i left my father, but i will forever regret choosing to live with my mother over him, i cant forgive her.

Whatever i can achieve in the what remains of my life will never be sufficient to fix this

same situation for me. I cant clean my fuckign room but I can clean other people's spaces, is this because I think I deserve less than others? do I deserve less than others?

i can clean my my room as much as i want but when i was younger i used to have literal shit and piss in my bed, constant smell and animal hair on my clothes, my backpack smelled like piss and in certain moments my familiy did go through legal troubles because of my home environment and my mother mentally abused me by telling it was all my fault.

same thing with me minus the shit and piss, I dont know why I find it so hard to clean my room or bring dishes / trash down but id gladly do it in one of my friends houses or somewhere thst isnt my room, I dont understand why. maybe it's just my brain that thinks I dont deserve to live in a clean space or be happy with what I have.
