I stop before I finish sentences because I don’t know what to say

When a normie says something I reply but my sentence ends before it’s finished

For example

Normie: “I think I’ll go to lunch now so I’ll be hungry for dinner later”

Me: “yeah that’s a good idea it’s…”

Then I just stop because I didn’t know what I wanted to say to begin with so the sentence goes nowhere
