I thought being 175cm tall was something brutal, but after developing my appearance and personality to the fullest, I realized that height is rubbish if you're not at least somewhat good-looking.
This might mean nothing to some on the forum, but I hope it motivates others...
At my school, I was at a freshman orientation event, and at the door I saw a girl as beautiful as I could imagine, but the catch? When she passed by me, she was literally 1/2 cm taller.
With an incel impulse, I stretched as far as I could as she passed by me and realized I was screwed... she would never notice me because I'm a small guy.
A few days later I followed her on Instagram and was completely smitten with this girl, but she was tall, and so I thought it would be impossible.
A few days later, an event called "love letter" took place where people sent love letters to each other and all that. Well, a friend of mine had told me she would send one to me, and I wasn't surprised when I received it, but strangely, another letter arrived saying, "Your beauty is incredible."
I questioned my friend about it, and she said she wasn't the one who sent it. The next day, the girl posted a story with flowers from the school's trees. I then replied, bringing up a lighthearted topic, saying I was going to report her for picking them... She laughed and continued commenting. At one point, she mentioned the letters from the school event and asked if I had received any. I never imagined she was the one who sent them, so saying I had received them would be stupid, and she would think another girl was interested in me.
I replied: I didn't receive it, and you?
Then she replied: Oh, you didn't receive it? What about the letter I sent?
Damn, I was speechless and made up a lie that it wasn't with me, and the next day I said it had been delivered late.
The end: We started seeing each other in person and she really was taller, but I put socks in my shoes to be the same height and I even looked taller... I kissed her and I'm incredibly happy because she's definitely the prettiest girl in school.
