It’s the opposite of slavery.
If you take a cold shower you gain freedom to do more things
If you are completely undisciplined you might feel “free”, but then try doing something that requires discipline (like building a good family) and you will miserably fail. So which is true freedom? Being able to do what ever you want to do, or doing whatever is engineered to make you feel good?

I remember I used to think like this. After stopping cold showers, my dark eye circles went away. My skin started clearing up because I was started sweating out toxins again.
