No, BP 2.5 is still a GOATed and a good one for your acne (considering you aren’t allergic). The side effect of this one is excessive tanning. I think I am starting to notice it. The dermatologist had already warned before that the BP would peel off the outermost layer of the skin hence caution is needed.
I touched grass a week ago where there was heavy sunlight that day and ofc I had to be tanned heavily for the next few days (yes I did wear sunscreen spf 30) and slowly my skin cells started to regenerate later. I went out again all day in sunlight yesterday but this time I made not to use BP the night before. I wore sunscreen as usual and guess what? I am not tanned at all! A lil bit of tanning is fine but it’s the excessive unnecessary tan that you gotta be careful of.
Conclusion :
Always wear a sunscreen (I am buying spf 50 now)
DONT use BP the night before the day you are gonna touch grass in heavy sunlight to avoid unnecessary excessive tanning.
