I took 2x Tilidin last night because my leg began feeling uncomfy and shortly went to sleep. Few minutes later, I began feeling incredible, so calm and a bit euphoric, some weird feeling of relief inside my chest, was flooded with positive thoughts as someone who's 100% negative. It was incredible. Shame this feeling goes after a week or two of usage but drugmaxxing is legit.

yeah, it's the best feeling ever. it makes me into a normie.

no, but i've had a whole smorgasbord of others. though if i could go back in time i never would have taken any.
actual drugs or painkillers like Tilidin?

both. but there's no difference. i'm pretty sure opium is the only opioid not used as a painkiller in developed countries, but it probably is in some undeveloped places. heroin is prescribed in UK. the only thing special about heroin is that if you inject it, it can rapidly cross the blood brain barrier, and once it does it just turns to morphine in your brain. but if you don't inject, it gets turned to morphine by your liver before entering your brain, so it's exactly the same as morphine, which doesn't have the stigma of heroin. in fact, oxycodone which doctors used to give out like candy is more potent than heroin taken orally.

i was wrong, opium is prescribed

why does the euphoric effect stop after some time though? I Used to be on painkillers for months but the effects I described above died after like a week or two

because that's the way your brain works. everything gets less pleasurable and intense over time (except bad shit of course because fuck god). it's called tolerance. you need more and more to get the "same" effects, i put same in quotes because after a while there's no way to recapture the magic of the first few times, no matter how much you do

i mean if you're asking about the actual physiological process behind, uh, receptor downregulation or some shit, probably some rewiring going on
