tehy were the blueprint for every successfull civilization, in a way the the jews ruined everything from the start, in the ancient greek period jews were constantly conquered and tamed, untill they created their abrahamic religion that inversed the powerfull beliefs of their superiors(the romans)

If by that you mean the average person in the city states believed, then literally no where in history is impressive because the average person will always be unimpressive. Regardless, Aristotle alone is impressive enough in terms of his impact on the Islamic golden age and the enlightenment in Europe. And they mog basically any other setting except the enlightenment in values.

Unremarkable compared to their reputation* They are literally just another ancient civ, even ancient china is better for example
"Oh but this specific person who lived there" I'm sure you can find many remarkable people from even the worst most backwards civilizations that have existed

But you can't. Literally none of them will match Aristotle formalizing the laws of logic, deductive inductive and abductive reasoning, establishing inductive reasoning in science. Even though he himself focused less on experimental methods, he still established a form of the scientific method. Formalized divisions of knowledge which wasn't done before him. Considered the first biologist. etc etc. Essentially everything we have today is because of Aristotle, Western Civilization in terms of Enlightenment values came almost entirely from him and other Greeks.

Like if you can find me the Ancient Chinese equivalent here then I'd be very surprised.

Don't make retarded statements you know nothing about.

Edit: Also JFL at the retarded comparison between the Greek city states which usually had a few thousand at most, with Athens being the biggest with like 50,000 to the millions of people that would've lived in Ancient China.

You only make statements you hope are true, not ones you believe are true

they aren't unremarkable at all compared to their peers, especially when you look at the incredible amount of cultural/military influence they had over neighbouring lands despite their small size. I would agree that much of the importance of greek civilisation is exacerbated by the Romans coming and basically adopting their culture and spreading it en masse to eventually the entire western world. Most romanticisation of ancient greek comes from the victorian age for obvious reasons.

I'm genuinely sorry but I'm not reading this

This is neither true, or poetic, or remotely informative. You are a retard.
I dont get what me being a retard or how poetic the comment is had to do with it being true or not lol

I was more thinking academically but culturally we can really say that Plato's metaphysics directly contributed to the development of Christian theology, in fact we can say that monotheism as an idea (even though Greek itself was Polytheistic) was most influenced from Aristotelian ideas of the first mover. It's just such a comically bad take that shows this nigger knows nothing about anything. Elite academics in Rome were all Greeks, and they Hellenized Rome as you said. Hellenized the world really.

It's the different values a statement could have, it could be aesthetically pleasing and fluid like poetry, it could be informative in that it opens someone's eyes to new ideas, or it could flatly true and the value is intrinsic, and you being a retard is because your statement had 0 value.
