It actually does look tryhard. The hairstyle is a bit too boyish and despite having fairly good bones, you kind of look a bit neotenous still. Don’t know your age of course but a more mature and easy (less polarising) look usually has more appeal.
Also these looksmax typical facial expressions are hilarious in real life. So stop these.
You have a good base. Just need a bit more fine tuning.
