Every single before and after picture i've seen they look the exact same or a little worse..

it's proven to expand ur nose, and visibly widen it (bad for most)

Aesthetic wise you have to make sure that you install either a bow or crane reversible headgear. Read the following study by Wom Moon, who invented the MSE procedure and appliance. Class III treatment by combining facemask (FM) and maxillary skeletal expander (MSE)
You might have to pay to read the study unless you have institutional access. and also you have to measure your ES ratio to make sure that an increase in bizygomatic width complements your IPD properly. The time frame within which a facemask can provide forward movement and slight CCW rotation is minimal; it is about 4 months maximum after you split the suture - also make sure you have your facemask ready to go and apply as much force as possible and wear for as long you can during that time frame.

They can do it for older people, but they will have to reopen your palate sutures which will give you a tooth gap.

Yes it's generally a looksmin unless your palate is very small. The biggest issue is the frontal expansion is too much compared to back-palate expansion, causing a square-like palate rather than keeping a natural shape

I wouldn't do it unless you have a lot of crowding or severe nasal breathing issue. It will lengthen your midface and give you bloated paranasal which is a feminine trait.
I'm on the fence mainly because my nose airways are so small, but i don't think it's worth the looksmin tbh.

It lengthens mid face ?

yep and it's pretty noticeable , every ct scan i've seen before and after has it. Around 2mm for 5mm expansion so probably a big no for downgrowncels.
