I think sleep is the problem here

I have been struggling with focusing on certain tasks for a long period of time lately.I have been getting insufficient sleep from 2024.I also frequently stay sleep deprived.I don't know if my brain is functioning properly or not but I think lack of sleep is the issue with me.My attention span has been terrible from the past 2 days.I sit down to do a task,forget the task right after and either waste time in social media or just daydream for 1-2 hours in bed:feelsrope:.
Do you guys know how I can get my energy back?Do I have to sleep 8 hours daily for that?

Try to limit being on your phone before going to sleep, that could help.

u need to understand sleep cycles its deeper than just the amount of sleep your getting, also look into what you can do to improve your quality of sleep. sleep is so important to your daily life but yes 8-11 hours is nice
