So I'm half German and half Latino, this was never a problem for me, I never had any issues with my identity. But being in this forum has lead me to feel weird about it, and now I think I feel kinda alienated from most pure Germans.
I notice this because I feel more comfortable with people who look more close to me (dark hair) than pure Germans, especially when they're male. It feels like I can't relate to them at all, like they are from a completely different society with different experiences and different values, despite me living in Germany since a kid and never feeling that way before. I made vacations in Spain last year and it felt much more like "home" than here, despite me not being a Spaniard. I think I officially have an identity crisis.
Well, to quote from a famous movie: "Race-baiting is baggage. Life's too short to be race-baiting all the time. It's just not worth it." Please listen to me, folks.
