I think undereye fillers might be a meme

got them a few days ago and while they did have a marginal effect on hollowing, they attract water and make the area where the filler sits puffy. especially in the morning.

I think overall it's still better than before so I'll leave them but this still kinda sucks.

fillers generally suck as a long term treatment. I just got them to as a temporary thing until I could get fat grafts and even for that they suck tbh. it's over-prescribed "non-invasive" BS to make quick bucks. even the surgeon who I previously respected had sort of a "yeah whatever let's pump some filler in there and I'll make 400 bucks" attitude about it because there's little risk involved and has no permanent effect.

guaranteed if you regularly get fillers in different areas of your face you'll end up looking like a circus act down the road because of the bloating.

So what you recommend as an alternative, the problem is that most people in this area need something that solves not only the projection of the bone - implants, but mainly volume and something that responds to thinned skin, so fillers.

seeing the way my surgeon injected the filler, I don't think it could have possibly made a significant difference just from an anatomical standpoint. I can literally feel where the filler sits under my skin and it's just like a little bump along the orbital bone even though he used almost a whole juvederm syringe. on the other hand, using more would have made it even puffier and worse than it looked originally.

I think you'd have to either get a fat graft that actually covers the whole undereye area rather than just adding that little bit of projection along the orbital with filler. or perhaps adress underlying bone structure with orbital rim implants (haven't looked into this a lot tho).

Fillers in cheeks, chin and jawline can be EXTREMELY attractive. Migration is BULLSHIT. In fact, it happens ONLY when the injector is RETARDED. The injection has to be done either on the bone, but better INSIDE the deep fat compartment. Then it never migrates.

Also, if some freaks overfill themselves, it does NOT mean that fillers are at fault. It is the fault of the freaks, who are getting too much injection, and the dermatologist, who is agreeing to turn them into Bogdanoffs.

The ONLY downside of fillers is their PRICE, since they have to be repeated indefinitely every year.

So, my advice, if you are unhappy with your results, I suggest you find another surgeon, since yours is not qualified. The problem is that if the surgeon is good at nosejobs and laser treatments, it does NOT mean they are good with FILLERS.

PS. Let be realistic, 99.9% of people would NEVER go for LeForte bullshit, or implants of anything. So fillers is the ONLY real solution to their underprojected bones. And in most cases, THE BEST.

The issue with fat grafting under eyes is that there is a high chance that will it leave lumps which are very difficult to remove even with blepharoplasty. Everybody says "just get fat grafts under eyes", it's not that simple.

In theory yes you could do that. No this is not how it works. The lumps are developed after the days or weeks because the fat will reabsorb and it's survival is very unpredictable leading to fat necrosis which are the lumps.

Fat grafts for under eyes are very risky. If the fat is reabsorbed unevenly which is a big chance, you are fucked. You will need blepharoplasty to remove the lumps.

it lasted at the peak for 2 months only but because i wear contacts and movement dissolves the filler

Dunno the underyee filler also improved by Ogee curve.

Ok, As far as I know once they are injected a capsule is formed around it, although if you get hit in that area and or if you move too the area too much before it settles it may migrate or maybe spread a little bit. I don't know man I had them for 1 and a half months. We will have to see.

I haven't seen that just yet. It was probably the movement in these areas( putting on contacts every day) once it settles, it's very difficult to migrate.
