I called the gym to ask to cancel and some girl picks up and says “well I can’t do that on the phone you have to come in” muh policy to make it harder to cancel so they get more money and im like “ok ill come in will somone be there” and she said “yes there is always someone on staff” which i knew is bullshit but wtv. Anyways I explain that I went in 2 days ago and there was no one there working I was in there for like 40 minutes JFL trying to get this shit canceled. She apologizes and I go cancel it with no issues it took like 5 minutes.
An hour later I get a call from some number in my area code that I don’t have saved and I pick up and it’s the owner (recognize the sound of a roided out 40 year old manlet) and this is where it gets crazy at first hes like “are you whitebitchslayer” and I say yea cause who knows what it’s for I’m not gonna say no and he goes “you came by the gym earlier to cancel your membership” and again I say yea and he asks abt when I came in and tried to cancel previously and I said “2 days ago 1pm for about 40 minutes” bro cuts me off half way like yelling about how there was someone there and I should come say it to his face
now obviously I’m not gonna say shit to this hyper roided meatball so I start trolling him abt how he must feel inferior if he needs to intimidate me to have a conversation and how there was obviously no one there or I would’ve canceled my membership
He got pretty heated said he was going to contact my dad (idk how the fuck he knows my dad but that seems fun) and then asked me if I knew who he was to which I say no (ik damn well who he is I’m j rage baiting at this point) and he hits the corniest line I swear I’ve ever heard “well you’re gonna find out real soon” anyways he hung up when I started laughing I can’t wait to see what happens but I’m stressing abt it for obvious reasons
