27 is still young.. id go on methylene blue first itll make ur face blue but there will be no irritation or peeling. tretinoin worked great but it made me peel for 3-4 days even if i moisturized no such probs with methylene blue. for general anti aging from the inside out look into progesterone dhea aspirn and niacinamide
