It's difficult to become like this permanently if you already by default aren't like that. This is because every time you manipulate something or someone, you feel like you're selling a tiny piece of your soul to the devil. So normally, you will sell it for a high price. I don't think you should aim to "manipuĺate everything" because it's sort of asking for trouble if you deal with the wrong people. Manipulators choose víctims they "know" won't cause retalitation.
