I keep windows open and fan running in the house. I never notice a suffocating smell
when i come home from work.

But it could be because I'm used to the smell.

solid particulates from the smoke as well as trace amounts of NO2, Cl2, NH3 and other corrosive ("smelly") gases are dissolved in the water droplets from the stream in the shower
works really good in my experience, but careful not to clog your shower drain with ashes

for serious pro strats you smoke cigs at the same time as showering, just keep your arm away from the water and steam or it gets soggy and tastes like shit
