I have been going to basketball for 4 years now. I had a lot of anxiety before practice. In my first year the most and then it got better. Now this anxiety came back. I absolutely hate going to practice. When I get there, I somewhat calm down. My main concern is getting hurt or hit. Any scratch or bruise. Not even the hit itself, but the fact that I can't do it back to that person. There's also this kid which I can't really stand, and he is also pretty aggresive on defense. He does it all the time. He's also one of the reasons I somewhat hate practice. Our coach also kicked out a lot of kids from our team and some left. In total we are 7, but usually around 6 show up to practice. I also have no friends on there. It's either they already formed a group and they don't talk to other kids or they simply aren't that talkative. It has gotten to the point where I prefer school to basketball. Maybe I'll give up on basketball and take up on a new sport this summer, after I am done with my exams. My parents always get angry at me whenever I say I wanna quit. My vegan coach probably brainwashed them into believing he is the best coach on earth.

Just use chemicals to make you less anxious and find the kid that makes you not enjoy practice after practice ends and give him a knuckle sandwich

"I can't do it back to that person"
sounds like you struggle with your build and have overreactive stress mechanisms. pharmaceutics are your future, unfortunately.

he implied he struggles with his build and has no friends or status there, he risks creating new trauma pathways and reinforcing old ones (if he already has them) by crashing out over playstyle from a guy who potentially build, status and group pack mogs him. he clearly has no idea what hes doing and is probably autistic so recommending him to crash out at some low IQ guy who could be amog could end bad for him.
