I was cucked hard this morning when I was buying beer at the kiosk. Most people usually assume me to be a couple years older than I actually am (22 yo). I only got asked to show my ID TWICE in my whole life when buying alcohol or tobacco products! Never ever has anyone guessed my age younger than it is. This time was different though.
The shop assistant - a Turkish looking woman in her 30's - suddenly became very unsure about not having asked for seeing my ID when I was paying for the beer.
She stuttered "are you even of legal age?"
I laughed and said: "For very long".
(In Germany, where I live, legal age is attained at 18 years and you can even legally buy beer at 16!!!)
- "I don't know" she said, "you still look very young in the face" - LITERALLY(!) - making a gesture with her fingers sliding around her chin. I guess she was referring to my weak facial hair but didn't have the guts to tell me directly. She also didn't ask for my ID after that so I just left, heading to my appointment. The whole situation seemed to be very uncomfortable for her, like she didn't want to make wrong assumptions or make me feel bad.
For me, that was another call to action to put even more effort into looksmaxxing.
I have been using Minoxidil for facial hair for about seven months now with good results but I'm far from having a non-patchy beard or decent facial hair. So I ordered zinc and biotin and also might have to start dermarolling for further support. I'm also gonna go tanning twice per week now as summer is almost over (fortunately).
I chew several pieces of gum every day to give me a chewing workout (practicing good oral posture too for 1 1/2 years now).
I am actually considering trying Botox to lower my eyebrows. I didn't want to do it at first but I changed my mind because having to brush my eyebrows into position every day just sucks and is too time-consuming and they don't stay in shape.
Guess I really needed that today!
