because why should I?
Most people just believe in god because they don't know things
what do u know that they dont
If im being deadass i dont believe in an omnibenevolent god either but i dont think its fair to claim u know more than religious ppl

I didn't claim that
I'm just saying people create a god for anything that they don't know
Back than humans literally had a god for everything ( sun, rain, lightning, tornadoes etc ) and after we discovered how these things worked all the gods disapeard

I agree that we create meaning in place of the lack of any inherent one
But science essentially does the same, imitating a god through reason and logic rather than faith
Its the same mechanism js orchestrated differently

Alhemdullah may Allah guide us and focus on deen not dunya

Ameen

@Gamerspyy786
the dunya goes almost hand in hand with the deen

for example you still gotta make money, provide a halal lifestyle for yourself, etc

but may Allah keep us away from degeneracy

Ameen

didn't you say u wanna become muslim?

in islam there is no concept of original sin. unlike in christanity, they believe we sin due to the faults of adam and eve, its not the same in islam. In Islam, God gave us free will and the ability to do good and bad, right and wrong. He had also given Adam as well as Eve free will to do what they wanted, and specifically said not to eat from the forbidden tree. Despite this, but devil lied to them saying it will give him eternal life and they bought it, because they had never experienced lying before. Due to that, they got removed from heaven and were sent down on to earth.

So in Islam, What we do with that free will is completely dependent on the person, if they decide to obey God or not.

Yes, In islam we believe everything that we have done, and will do for every human being is kept in a record. Whatever is written for you, it will happen. Whatever isn't, isn't going to.

This doesn't negate the fact that free will still exists, it is just predetermined what will happen, and nobody will know your future outcome besides Allah.

It kinda reminds me of this story called death in samarra:
A merchant's servant in Baghdad sees Death in the marketplace, is frightened by a gesture, and asks for his master's horse to flee to Samarra. Later, the master encounters Death and asks why she scared his servant. Death replies that she wasn't threatening him, but was merely surprised to see him in Baghdad because she had a rendezvous with him in Samarra that night.

I feel like i have to do my due diligence as a muslim and give you dawah.

you should look into Islam because its the truth. I recommend just reading the Quran online on Quran.com
