Why notNah I don't believe in god
because why should I?Why not
what do u know that they dontbecause why should I?
Most people just believe in god because they don't know things
I didn't claim thatwhat do u know that they dont
If im being deadass i dont believe in an omnibenevolent god either but i dont think its fair to claim u know more than religious ppl
I agree that we create meaning in place of the lack of any inherent oneI didn't claim that
I'm just saying people create a god for anything that they don't know
Back than humans literally had a god for everything ( sun, rain, lightning, tornadoes etc ) and after we discovered how these things worked all the gods disapeard
So you're telling me Muhammad got fucked by a pig ?

in islam there is no concept of original sin. unlike in christanity, they believe we sin due to the faults of adam and eve, its not the same in islam. In Islam, God gave us free will and the ability to do good and bad, right and wrong. He had also given Adam as well as Eve free will to do what they wanted, and specifically said not to eat from the forbidden tree. Despite this, but devil lied to them saying it will give him eternal life and they bought it, because they had never experienced lying before. Due to that, they got removed from heaven and were sent down on to earth.can u explain the Muslim view on original sin
Isnt there a concept of predestination in islam too tho? Ive heard of that and kasb in sunniin islam there is no concept of original sin. unlike in christanity, they believe we sin due to the faults of adam and eve, its not the same in islam. In Islam, God gave us free will and the ability to do good and bad, right and wrong. He had also given Adam as well as Eve free will and they chose to eat from the forbidden tree, which is what Muslims believe. God instructed both Adam and Eve not to eat from the forbidden tree, but devil lied to them saying it will give him eternal life and they bought it, because they had never expierenced lying before. Due to that, they got removed from heaven and were sent down on to earth.
So in Islam, What we do with that free will is completely dependent on the person, if they decide to obey God or not.
Yes, In islam we believe everything that we have done, and will do for every human being is kept in a record. Whatever is written for you, it will happen. Whatever isn't, isn't going to.Isnt there a concept of predestination in islam too tho? Ive heard of that and kasb in sunni
It kinda reminds me of this story called death in samarra:Yes, In islam we believe everything that we have done, and will do for every human being is kept in a record. Whatever is written for you, it will happen. Whatever isn't, isn't going to.
This doesn't negate the fact that free will still exists, it is just predetermined what will happen, and nobody will know your future outcome besides Allah.
are u muslim? It kinda reminds me of this story called death in samarra:
A merchant's servant in Baghdad sees Death in the marketplace, is frightened by a gesture, and asks for his master's horse to flee to Samarra. Later, the master encounters Death and asks why she scared his servant. Death replies that she wasn't threatening him, but was merely surprised to see him in Baghdad because she had a rendezvous with him in Samarra that night.
