The english copy of the movie is 'vanilla sky' with tom cruise, I never watched this, only the spanish abre los ojos.
This was back in 2017 when I first got into the blackpill communities, lookism.net and this movie was recommended to me along others

Then at a birthday I attended in 2017, which is rare because I rarely attended social-events as a social-recluse. The only reason I even knew this girl was because I took over her student-dorm due to her graduating, Her inviting me was weird but I lived nearby and decided to attend, not having anything better to do.

This party, a girl started speaking about this movie and how touched she was by it. It was insane for me because why would this even happen? what a coincidence.
I spoke with her about this movie and the blackpill for hours in the end. I thought she mogged me in looks but that was probably low self-esteem speaking and we were probably looksmatched. We ended up parting ways at this birthday and never speaking to eachother again.

It's insane to me that this even happened tbh. What person watches a 30 year old spanish blackpilled movie and starts randomly talking about it passionately cuz she watched it recently, at a random birthday party?

It has made me question life because i think this cant be coincidence?!? She was sent for me.

these are oldstyle movies which are a bit slower. its not for everyone.
even personally i struggle with watching movies older than the 1990s, but this is slightly younger so still okay and fast enough for me.

You have a different issue where this movie is non-english which is also uncommon for people to watch.


Take for example this other spanish movie, its modern, but due to it being non-english hardly anyone will watch it.

I made some friends watch it with me together and they were touched by it. It left a mark, which means its a good movie. Which is rare for horror-movies anyways I think since a lot of them are shit and just leave you with this feeling of: 'yeah that didnt make sense, bullshit movie'

You say its the migrants version but abre los ojos was the original and vanilla sky came out years later. They had a much bigger hollywood budget but my honest opinion is that the money couldve been spent developing a new movie instead of copying an old one and that would've been better for cinema and the world in general.
