You would likely need to be a attractve to be in a healthy relationship with an attractive girl. I think the general rule is as long as hypergamy is taking place in some regard for the women it can work, even if the girl is more attractive resources and status can come into play. You may see the odd outlier but that seems to be the general rule, maybe you can get into a relationship with a gl girl as an ugly guy but is it a good relationship? Will it last long-term? I doubt it
