I know this is the obv choice but my dad will be with me, and i dont wanna get emberassed
Also i wanna get something that would expand my lower maxilla, how can i "influence" the surgeon to get me something like an msdo?

book it asap. I had to wait 3 months for my first consult, then several appointments with orthodontist and again with maxfac, each time agonisingly waiting months between as I get older and older. Now I'm finally getting braces (10-12month duration) after 9 months from my initial consult.

The only decent fillers surgeon in my city has an 8 month backlog from fucking roasties wanting plastic tits. Looksmaxxing is a race against the clock before your youth is gone. Mine already is at nearly 25.

No, they're not clueless about aesthetics they just know the practical limits of surgery and that fixing the face is not like fixing a car.

There are legit incompetent surgeons ofc, and you may end up hearing some pretty dumb shit like e.g. genio when you may need BSSO, but still it's better to not try and "direct' the surgeon on what to do, especially if he ends up being shit in terms of skill.

The first surgeon I saw recommend a sliding genioplasty when I really need a bsso. However he was just some local no name. I would suggest researching the best maxillofacial surgeons in your area and try to get referred to them.
