"the tiger, which cannot leap off the person riding it, is tired of running".
A quote on my mind lately from the book Ride the Tiger: A Survival Manual for the Aristocrats of the Soul by Julius Evola
Certified Chvd book of course, since the whole purpose of it is to basically instruct everyone at the end of a "cycle" of civilization to just let the epoch carry its course and then intervene when the "tiger is tired" to essentially gain the upper-hand.
Of course this is all metaphorical in a way, and can be applied to our lives, since they hinge upon the "happenings" of civilization.
I will ride this tiger, whatever it may be, and however it may come to me.
I do not know when it will come, but I know it will come.
