Just this constant headache and feeling of anxiety for NO REASON at all. I’m worrying over things that I can’t even comprehend in my mind it’s hard to explain. That’s why I’m using the pregabalin right now, but I also need to stop using it too.

I don’t know what your take on weed is, but it’s far better than benzos in my opinion. It’s hard to get hooked on weed and the feeling is more enjoyable and relaxing.

If you do benzos then stick to something like diazepam, it’ll give you a mellow and chill feeling. When I first took diazepam it was the most amazing feeling ever and I was sociable as fuck.

If u thinik u cn limit it to twice a week yh its great. But once ur going to 3 days or more ur gna have it in ur system all the time then build a dependance and ur fkd with terrible withdrawal, post acute withdrawal for years and ur gaba receptors potentially never recovering completely meaning ur anxiety might be worse for life.

Everyday use should be no more thn 3 weeks or so. Even 1 week of using everyday will give u bad rebound anxiety.

I have been diagnosed with severe OCD and chronic depression, and my father's side is also plagued with various mental illnesses.

I would be extremely afraid that my head would do some mental gymnastics and convince me of some bullshit while iam on the drug

I have smoked weed a few times in my life and had bad anxiety attacks afterwards (probably because of my severe OCD, my head kept telling me that something was going to happen to me) it was like fucking hell, the next 1 week was fucking disgusting
i only smoked weed and didnt took some fucking mushrooms, idk why my head did such mental gymnastic on fucking weed

iam scared that something will happen to me like

like a psychosis or something, especially since I am also genetically predisposed

Yeah and no ive never heard of them causing things like that to anybody when on them. Its the withdrawal if somebody builds a dependance tht can cause psychosis. Honestly based on having a history of mental illness and take a less dangerous approach and get on an ssri and low dose testosterone for depression. Having a history of mental illness just puts u at huge risk for addiction to them. Testosterone at 300mg or so can have a strong antidepressant effect but takes a couple of weeks but blood levels to build up it wont be instant after ur first injection.

Like I said benzos are great short term or for one off uses (flight anxiety or presentation etc) but the withdrawal from them is horrible and u get dependant so quick.
