I've always admired how passionately people discuss history the way they connect events, analyze motives, and draw parallels with the presentI genuinely want to be part of those conversationsI often find myself lost. I struggle to follow the timelines, remember key events, or grasp the bigger picture behind historical narratives. It feels like there's a massive gap in my understanding and that makes it hard to contribute meaningfully. Doesn’t help the fact that I slept through most of history classes high school and only one day before my board exams. Memorized everything just for the heck of it and vomitted it all out on paper. I never properly appreciated or learned history. I was always drawn to more analytical stuff.

History would be cool if I didn't want to hang myself in the 1st minute of someone talking about it due to how boring it is.

I start falling into insane hallucinations where I imagine myself being a pharaoh.

ive even woken up in a pyramid burial chamber after my death and being extremely happy for having such a well taken care after-life.

I like the idea of liking history but most of it flies over my head
That’s fair. Are you more a book or video chap? I do think learning history is best done by asking questions out of curiosity rather than worrying too much about β€œbut where from?” Think of some questions first, then you can find it out.

I was thinking of making little YouTube videos about things I’m interested in actually. Nothing serious just talking about what interests me to others who are also interested in it.

History as always been somewhat cope to me despite doing good in the classes. The information I get from the past isn’t going to change my life in any way unless I become a historian or something.

Heckin' love history! I'm lean more on societies and culture. And boy oh boy women never changed at all.

You don’t

If you did then you’d speak to me more. If you did you’d probably be an autist, most people into it are autistic, your life seems easy and fun going very rarely so guys with easy lives like yours ever get into it

So just sit down and accept it isn’t for you brother keep stacking that paper that’s made for you make that money

This is the history for Normies

True history is more hardcore shit like the Strategon (Byzantine empire Millatary strategy book) the spread of Christianity, the Timurids etc
