I just keep thinking about it over and over, how I wish I could be like that, how I wish it came naturally instead of feeling like something I have to force every second. It’s not even about copying him exactly, it’s more like I see something in him that feels complete, like he figured something out that I’m still trying to understand. And it gets stuck in my head because I know it’s not magic, it’s just consistency and discipline, but that almost makes it worse, because it means there’s no excuse.
I think about how he just stays locked in, all the time, not just when it’s easy. That’s the part I can’t get over.
