accompanied Erasmus students with some classmates on a bus trip, and the trip made me realize how bad my social inhibition is. I find it impossible to talk to strangers without them talking to me first

I don't even look bad. The girls were looking at me and talking about me at the pool because I could see them with my peripheral vision. One of them spoke to me at a barbecue, and I had the opportunity to start a conversation with someone, but I'm an idiot, and it didn't last even five seconds because I don't know how to keep a conversation going

Seeing normal people greeting people they don't know and talking to them about completely random and stupid things to make conversation makes me very jealous because I really feel incapable of doing it, besides the fact that those first awkward minutes of conversation will help you talk to that person the whole trip and break the ice

Everything seems stupid to me, and I feel stupid doing normal things. I just want to be normal. If only I had made a friend on the trip, I could have had the opportunity to talk to everyone
