Well it depends on where in the south you go. I go to a smoothie shop with mostly college students/ recent college grads./ grad school students and only like 10% of the workers there are obese. At the gym , I see very few obese people. Same at college campuses. Most offices have a 50/50 obesity rate roughly.

My work place is more of an exception honestly. I would say around 80% are obese. Again- maybe the fattest place on planet earth.

If I were delusional enough to become obese, and think that fit women would be interested, I would want to be put in my place. That way I lose weight.
