From the age of 12-16 I was ugly, skinny and underdeveloped. I got pushed around in school and got mocked constantly. I would never want my kid to have to go through that and to feel like I did when I got pushed around. Im still mad about how I was treated today 2 years later now that I no longer go to school with those people, I still think about it often and it pisses me off. I would never let my son/daughter go through that whole shitshow. If other parents dont give a fuck about how their kids behave why should I when it comes to my kids? Bullies dont end up broke and homeless like in movies, they do better in life on average than the kids who get bullied. I'll do anything for my kids to fit in, just as long as they dont have to experience being the victim. Nothing makes you feel more inferior than being pushed around by people bigger and stronger than you that you cant do anything against. And as long as my kid isnt at the recieving end of that treatment then I dont give a fuck. Bullying will always happen no matter what so dont give me any bullshit about being kind and raising kids to be caring, thats how I was raised and my teen years were a disaster because of that and my horrible diet causing me to be so ugly.

tbh if you have kids it should be mandatory to atleast teach them some form of self defense like boxing or whatever.

you don't need to go all out and get them into martial arts but give them the basics so if anyone messes with them, they can stand up for themselves

Its a good thing that people dont, gives my kid an advantage when I raise them the right way. If I have a daughter I'll just tell her that its okay to carry a knife or pepper spray everywhere.
