you can’t really “try” usl championship or or league one but the lower usl leagues which are semi pro might have a system where you can get a trial with them

if you were to play play for usl league 2 (which is semi pro so it’s similar to the semi pro leagues you mentioned in that sense) teams you’d get paid but idt you can live on those wages
