This would undoubtedly make people post more helpful and thoughtful comments instead of shorter, useless ones including popular comments that make fun of curries or manlets, for example. According to my plan we should still be able to give reactions, but there shouldn’t be a score that penalizes you for making posts/comments that receive fewer reactions.

Thoughts?

how am I going to get my dopamine?

I think that would cause more low effort replies as people would be more likely to postmaxx and not worry about their ratio.

In case it wasn’t clear in the OP, my suggestion would be to still allow people to give reactions (such as thumbs up, lol face, etc.) so you would still get notifications for this stuff. It just wouldn’t show your score to post ratio on your profile

That is definitely a possibility, however based on the limited amount of time I’ve spent on incels.is it seems to me that most people don’t spam but instead write more consistently higher quality content than on here. This could just be because users there are also higher IQ typically

As long as it reaction score doesn't affect the visibility of comments/posts (therefore causing one-sided discussions; see Reddit) then it's just a bit of harmless fun tbh.

no, it's a good feature

My main issue with it is that it makes people write comments that are more likely to get them good reaction scores, meaning more comments that have already been made, and fewer original content/people saying stuff that others won’t agree with and asking questions, etc.

Also it’s good to find out that you’re actually a normal human with normal thought processes :ROFLMAO: I never thought you were a bot but still...

nigga thats retarded.
incels.is has a low effort postmaxxing problem you want that?
