Chin projection might be the most useless trait to fix. If it’s not major

3/4 is the most important angle since it is pretty much the average of all the angles people view you from. Good luck looking good that way with a small chin. I'm not talking about 2mm here, I need more like 2cm. If Barett's chin went up to his lips he would look much more masculine, my question is trying to find out if this is better or not. I know chin projection barely affects front, so what?

Slightly behind upper lip, slightly ahead or in line with it are all fine.

“Ideal” is probably in line with upper lip but it’s a subtle trait, I think chin height, size and shape matter way more as long as the chin projection is adequate

Projection is cope as long as it isn't recessed or habsburg tier. Chin height, width, shape etc are way more important

I settled on slightly behind bottom lip. As another user here mentioned anyway the priority for me should be chin width so I now need to find out if it’s possible to get genioplasty after implants. That way I could save up for and get implants first in my first year of uni.

The left one looks like it has more aesthetic balance and fits his looks more, whilst the right one looks more masculine.

Probably because of his proclined incisors too. I guess prettyboys should usually have chin slightly behind lips since they usually have a convex philtrum, which reduces the perceived size of the chin.

In reality Barrett in the original pic probably has the same chin mass as the average flat philtrumcel with their chin in front of lips.

Basically, convex philtrum — chin slightly behind lips is ideal since in line is too masculine.

You have to remember a significant amount of chin height as added and his chin is still behind his lips

i watch faces all the time, and without a projected chin
the face will 100% lose shape when opening the mouth, doing emotes looking up or down etc
and it's sad

Also large genio movements will stretch the submental more. Do you know if surgeons will show you morphs to see what you will look like after a certain bone movement?
