At that point the likelihood of escape drops down significantly, making a lot of crime completely impossible, since the criminal would have to run into more civilians who are going to remember his face or things about him or join the chase.
Crime is further impossible because what if someone instantly screams right off the bat, and causes witnesses to chase you down and pin you until police come, which is what happened to MVP, and why he was put into the mental ward.
Cameras everywhere. You need a full body suit to even stand a chance.
But you can't get away with that in public so only crime scenes connected to full escape points are truly possible. You have to do without a mask or have a slip-on mask.
Underestimating satellite vision isn't smart either.
Crime in 2024 is the absolute furthest thing away from easy.
Just one person could easily be enough to pull out their phone and record your face and the data is instantly transmitted due to the level of spying as explained by edward snowden.
Even if you have a slip-on mask then you have the same clothes and just one camera catching you, which could be ANYWHERE, is enough to lend you to prison, which is instanty game ova suicide.
Crime in a public place could be a complete death sentence, but outside of it, you're going to leave DNA.
It's not impossible but easily could be, since the difficulty is so high that you don't really control if you slightly slip up, but at the same time only get one chance.
