If AI can automate art, it means sex/pleasure is the ONLY objective reason to exist

The art community is currently throwing a tantrum because of the rise of AI-generated art. Soon other types of artists such as writers will also suffer a similar fate.

But consider the wider implication of what this means. If AI can generate art that is as good or even better than what humans make, it means this whole bullshit about art being 'special' was all just utter horseshit all along. That it can all just be broken down into a bunch of ones and zeros. There is no deeper meaning. Artists won't serve any purpose in the future because their 'talent' can be automated.

But do you know what CAN'T be automated? Sexual pleasure. And all pleasure for that matter. AI cannot make you orgasm, get you drunk, make you taste good food, etc. Once AI automates all this other bullshit, those will be the ONLY reasons to exist just as they were thousands of years ago.

Agreed until the last part. Sexual pleasure can be recreated with technology.

They'll cost millions of dollars so only the rich will have them. At best, they'd have android whore houses that would be insanely expensive to visit. And feminist cucks would probably ban them.

Something I thought earlier is how it would affect people in the future if most the media they consume is generated by an AI. It's not exactly the same, and it wouldn't create, it would reassemble and regurgitate. I think this could create changes in people's psychology.

This is so much bullshit.

How do you think human artists 'create' anything? They start by gathering references. No modern artist is 'creating' anything. If anything, advanced AI will have more creativity than humans do.

"Gathering references" and synthesizing them in a coherent and accessible way is creating. Something must come from something but at one point you have a new object, and even subtle changes could induce drastically different outcomes.

AI art is cope, one big point of art is that it’s a human using a medium to express something. Hence human art isn’t going to die out and will always have a massive audience. AI art is a novelty, it’s just a nice looking composition with no details or meaning. You realise how fucked up it is when you look closely tbh

AI and technology will mog sexual pleasure hard in the future.

Pleasure is also just hormones being released, there is nothing special about them either, just biochemical reactions inside your brain.

Creation exists because media production or just anything production isn't purely the reassembly of what's perceived in the world. Considering from what content a person can write a book. Not just the things they've seen but what they can invert or negate, what they can infer from, what that reminds them of, how that thing can be applied elsewhere, how its nature can be extended, or how else it can be contextualized. I don't think an AI could do this. It's just grabbing things and combining them with things that it can somehow be associated with. It can't make these creative leaps, it's just grabbing things that already exist.

I suspect the new AI thing knows to combine certain sentences and objects on the basis of the likelihood of these sentences and objects to be approximate to one another. It "knows" that dogs eat because it feeds on content in which the word eat is often proximate to dog. What it generates is limited by proper grammar which wouldn't be difficult to do I think.

What fucking 'meaning'? There's no fucking meaning to anything. And ANYTHING follows a system. A system that the AI can and WILL eventually learn how to use.

ai will not replace writers but it will make some great editing tools. Writing is about sharing ones ideas. This isn't to say an AI cant write. A self-aware one definitely could write a book but it would be worth no more than a human-written book. People read books because it was written by an intelligent agent. This isn't the same for visual art.

AI models are just based on a curated collection of known human works. You’d still need human artists to produce originals.

This is one of the biggest copes ever and a massive misunderstanding of how the AI actually works.

Yes, you need a database. But the idea that the AI isn't creating anything new just simply isn't true. If I look at an image of a skyscraper and an image of a hamster, and I create an image that looks like a skyscraper with hamster eyes, that's me creating something 'new'. It's the same with the AI.

You know what, you’re right. Humans aren’t even that original either
