It's that looks + mood are everything. No one cares about your job, your past, what you've done with your life, your friends, any of that rat race stuff. All people actually respond to is appearance and how you feel. The only reason people even care about any rat race stuff is it affects how you feel. But if you can just feel confident and assertive, then that's all that counts. Low energy, negative self-image, hesitation, lack of confidence are all social death sentences. But no one cares where your confidence comes from. It could be stupidity, delusion, drugs, it doesn't matter. Just feel good and look good and people like you.
