Calve raises i do them until failure
 
mind muscle connection is overrated
if you notice growth keep doing them even if you don't feel it
 
for calves the more the better, it's one of the few muscles that requires volume over weight.
 
how tf don't you feel calves
I feel them even if I just flex them without any weight
