I'd be like, “look, I've had my fair share of embarrassment in my life, believe me, but the way you're going about it now, you're just dooming yourself to having shame be the glue that holds every piece of your fractured being together–a residual shame, the kind that never goes away, that's like… the grout between the tiles.
