I needed braces when I had bimax but that’s because my bite was fucked up before. Now it’s perfect


So I’m assuming you just want more forward growth in both jaws. How many mm are you thinking? Have you consulted w any surgeons yet?

Most likely. Depending on what rotations are done, and whether one jaw needs to be moved more than another. A good maxfac will make the teeth/bite fit the ideal jaw position, not the other way around.

why exactly do you need the braces for ? why are they changing your teeth position if they are already perfect

not yet, I want at least 1 cm of forward growth, I would also need my cuck nose moved forward and rotated. this surgery would ascend me hard. I don't think I would need anything after this I'm done with looksmaxing.

What’s wrong with your nose currently? If you had jaws moved forward 1cm your nose would likely change quite a bit.

it's pointed down, if moved forward and rotated it will look compact.

Well, I heard of users that got it without braces but my surgeon said that even though my bite is good I’ll still have to get “passive braces” (braces that just sit there without doing anything) for a month prior to the surgery because it is standard procedure to use the braces to help in the process

I see. I agree. Moving the maxilla forward to such a degree would almost certainly change your nose in a favorable way
