my mom wont let me do accutane cuz "my acne isnt that bad and i dont need it yet" and i can only get it prescripted since im under age (16yo) and i wanted to get accutane cuz my scars and acne keep reapearing and getting worse. my acne is bad but not too bad, i still want to get it fixed.
since mom wont let me, i went to a dermatologist got a little better but progress stopped.
anything else other than acuttane i can do without my mom knowing? and also is accutane recommended for under 18 ppl?
i have a good diet too
16yo w acne scars and some (like 2 or 3) actual pimples

yes but if you notice any sides get urself checked bc it can fuck ur liver

They are both topical (tret is a cream and retinol is often a serum)

you think its worth getting tret and what tret product to get (like what brand or mg/% idk)? retinol (i heard) wasnt as useful but it does heal acne scars

Go to a dermatologist and get prescribed everything but accutane. When it doesn’t work your derm will recommend accutane to finally get rid of it. That’s what I did
