If thumbpulling was cope then how does MARPE and MSE work.

the point of thumbpulling was to apply pressure to the inside of the mouth increasing the space between the suture, I know that the forwards pulling was stupid because no bone suture was there, but for increasing your bizygomatic width it should work according to the same concept as palatal expansion tools. if its about the amount of time it takes then i could probably make a device to mimic thumbpulling throught the night. anyone know if this theory would be incorrect?

because they are actually designed by otho for that purpose unlike fucking thumbpulling which doesnt even produce enough force

because marpe and mse provide constant tension for hours and hours. thumbpulling provides constant tension for like 10 mins
