What about country. UK seems fucking miserable, and is a low trust society.

I remember nickelodian, american shows, 2000s shit about American school. I mean our movies are kinda accurate of how school and average life is in Britain, so I would expect to trust ur films and series.

I see literal MTN get approached so often in America, small talk in corner stores, some sense of community. What the fuck is going on there and how can I get a piece of that American life nigga, it looks too fun to be true.

Not really. I was a teen in 2000.

Only the top 10-15% of guys in terms of looks had girlfriends in my highschool.

In college it was maybe the top 20% of guys in terms of looks. If I had chosen a mostly female major, it would have been easier, but there was no one to explain that you had to take such drastic actions to wind up with some up. The media, parents, everyone just gas lite us acting as if you'd just naturally meet a girl eventually.

All of the advice online was gaslighting, telling us to memorize routines like "the cube" to get girls, that made us come off as even cringier and weirder.

After college there were dating apps, but I never got any results from them.

Pick up was shit, hundreds of approaches zero phone numbers. Completely ignored in clubs, on the street, on the beach, etc.

Yah, maybe it's worse now, but people don't realize how long it's been over for.

I'm almost 32.

2008 was peak emo culture.
bro im older than you and i wasnt even teen back then

you were kid and entering puberty in this era

we both are late 2000s teens btw, it was also very good unlike what gen z kids having tbh

What I'm saying is it might be 5% harder now, but chances are if you can't get a girlfriend now, you wouldn't be able to get one in 2000.

For me personally, talking to girls and dating is easier in the 2020s than it was 1995 - 2010.

im 17 I cant bhai. I mean im going next year, visiting Russia and east europe too. I've been in south Europe its kinda meh and full of migrants and I stick out like a thumb there. Very excited to go to America, i'll let you know if it lives up to the hype - im visiting my friend who lives in a nice suburban place in cali, who goes private school, and talks about how interesting shit is over there.

Did you live through it? How old were you back then to make these claims?

You're idealizing a fantasy that never existed.

Not to mention getting hit with multiple recessions, after my generation got saddled up with student loans. Most of my generation never broke into the industry there degree is in, and are working shitty minimum wage jobs to this day.

thats LA. Im discussing the suburbs that u see in all the movies. Suburbs dont have crime, bunch of white kids, its what people associate America with.

I dont know how on earth Im going to cut it to live in Cali with like 2.5k a month though. Will probably have to share house, etc. I would probably like to stay there a year or two for the fun of it. Cities everywhere except East Europe suck imo. Where as all rural and suburb areas are rich nice places without crime, in east europe its the opposite away round, cities control wealth, dont have much crime are clean, and gopniks n shit hang out in more poor areas usually outside of big cities.

Is it harder or easier for you to date now?

Because even though I'm completely broke 40 year old without a car, who looks not much better than I did when I was 25 it's easier for me to date now. It's not easy now, but easier for me. I've even got more dates from dating apps now, compared to plenty of fish back then.

Interesting. I only have appeal to younger girls. The younger they are, the more attracted they are to me, but I wouldn't talk to any girl who's under aged.

I always looked kinda young, so that may be part of it, that girls weren't attracted to me because I looked too young in my twenties.

Different Pheno's probably peak in SMV at different times in their lives. That may be a bigger part, than the dating market actually being that much harder now. Because I see couples now, where the guy would never have gotten a girlfriend if he had been a teen in 2000s.
