Seriously, I would say it's mandatory at this point. It's braindead easy to use, you simply glide the brush along the gumline.
I use the Philips sonicare 4100 with g2 brush replacement heads (softer and better on gums)
The brush will clean your teeth similar to a dentist would with a fraction of the effort.
In the morning when you are sleepy as shit because you stayed up till 4 am arguing about black smv on offtopic, you can close your eyes and just let the brush do the work.
Get the Philips 4100 NOT the Philips one or whatever it's called.
