If you’re trying to lose weight, one of the biggest levers after walking more and shit like semaglutides is reducing excess rice intake, especially if you come from Asian or South Asian households.

Rice isn’t “bad ” In fact, it’s historically been the most efficient way to feed large populations. Growing up in my household we used to eat rice with almost every meal. So i am used to eating it every day and that is overconsumption. You don't have to get rid of it entirely just limit it. Once I reduced eating rice. It lead to noticeable fat loss and better digestion and less bloating.

That said don’t eliminate carbs. Carbs fuel training performance, recovery, and strength. If you remove them entirely, your lifts will suffer a lot. Experienced this myself Instead keep carbs in your diet but reduce the volume of rice, replace with vegetables and fruits

Well it's pretty tasteless so avoiding it shouldn't be an issue

If you are European yes. Avoiding Rice isn't an issue it's much harder for people from asian cultures. Rice isn't just a side dish for us, it's a staple and part of everyday meals.
