Title. Violin is insanely difficult. My mum always wanted me to learn an instrument and she encouraged me to do violin and piano. Failed at both but violin was an another level of impossible . Everything on the violin happens by feel alone just pure muscle memory and intuition. To play good music, your brain has to process an overwhelming number of things at once. perfect pitch, precise finger placement to millimetres, bow pressure, bow speed, angle, tone quality, rhythm all simultaneously.

It's on another level compared to guitar. Guitar gives you frets as training wheels. Violin gives you nothing but air. You have to be genius to play the violin well.
