obviously if you're in a cucked country where it's illegal, i get it, but for everyone else, how do you expect the government to always exist in a tolerable state, or for infrastructure to survive perpetually against entropy, natural disasters, etc?
civilization is a fragile thing, it comes and goes like gossamer in the wind. how can you be of sound mind and think you can always rely on impersonal self serving entities that have no interest or incentive in guaranteeing your health and safety, especially when the crime, instability, death, and fear generated from their criminal and migrant proxies benefits them directly in justifying their expansion of the state and increasing their own salaries?
even the best police responses will not be able to save you if you're not able to properly defend yourself immediately. the gun represents the most advanced, easy to use, convenient, portable, and affordable self defense technology there is. why would you limit yourself to knives, sticks and stones, or your own fists, when criminal parties have access to guns?
furthermore, if the state were to become [insert ideology you disagree with], do you just resign yourself to licking boot and taking it up the ass? what kind of faggot mindset is that? again, it goes back to this naive, unimaginative, and low iq notion that the present conditions are never subject to radical change via black swan events or processes that have been boiling below the surface of civil society for decades.
