When I mean “romanticize”, I don’t mean to personify the site as a woman and imagine you fucking it. Although you can think of it that way if it’s easier for you to understand. Rather it’s about attributing more meaning to the site than it “deserves”. Holding onto an idealized, distorted version of it in our minds, seeing it better than it actually is. And the more we try to deny the reality of it, the more we feel burdened. This not only applies to this site but anywhere else.
Most users who are active on this site are “terrible” people, a bit like you and me, let’s be real here. This is a label cuckedditors love to use on people they disagree with. Yet I don’t believe in trying to be a morally “perfect” person because it might as well be putting the weight of the world on your shoulders. One person’s perception of “better” may be another person’s perception of “worse”. Yet this is like rocket science for a lot of cuckedditors. If cuckeddit was personified, they’d be one of the biggest hypocrites and walking contradictions you’ll ever meet in your life.
This site is basically like the Wild West and Gotham City, and it’s futile trying to impose cuckeddit etiquette onto this site. People make the mistake of thinking that this site is an alternative social media to Facebook, Instagram, etc and try to apply the same morals here. Trying to take responsibility for how a rando on this site reacts to your threads is like trying to intervene with nature and prevent a predator from catching its prey. Neither the predator or prey will be guaranteed to “appreciate” any actions that you take or don’t take. It’s also why I don’t believe in “deserve” or “karma”.
Why I post on this site despite the toxicity
The irony is that I'm still willing to post on this site because I see the site for what it really is. I'm not making it out to be something better than it actually is. Not only am I blackpilled, but I view this site through a blackpilled lens. Knowing this is a site where I can say things that would make people IRL say “you deserve to go to hell”, there’s no reason for me to not take advantage of that. This site allows users to be raw and confessional in a way that would almost make the reader seem like a voyeur standing outside their window. People are understandably discouraged from making high-effort threads on this site. Despite the potential futility of doing so, that doesn’t deter me. And it does sound like I’m not really adhering to my own advice of “effortless action” as I mentioned in my previous thread.
“Why so much effort for nothing bro? You're such a hypocritical retard” That’s because I am writing these threads for myself first and foremost. I’m basically checking off a mental bucket list since I will only have to write each thread once to "tick" it off. Anyone else who reads them is just a bonus.
Perhaps the last remnants of my childlike compassion are pushing me to write these threads despite knowing the futility of doing so. Perhaps it's because I've been through similar experiences as lot of people have here. And this has imbued me with a certain degree of compassion, even though that's not my apparent disposition. Yet simultaneously I approach this site with a “pump n dump” mindset where I try to log off as soon as possible to enjoy the rest of my day after posting a thread. Not everyone has to make shitpost after shitpost. Some things might not seem effortless for you, but it is for me since it’s within my “comfort zone”, and I get a kick out of it.
Since I am exerting effort on my own terms, finding gratification in doing so, while not catering to the ideals of others, I would still consider it “effortless action”. If you were to look at life as an energy exchange, I am still gaining more energy from this than I am losing. However, if I cared about users here complaining about my threads being too long, then yes it would be a waste of effort. I know that I’m posting during the “ran through roastie” post-prime era of the site. This site might even be shutdown within the next few years given its current trajectory. The point is even if this site didn’t exist, I know for a fact that I’d still write these for my own gratification and to prevent my mind from rotting. Writing and journaling existed before the internet y'know. After all, I nearly forgot that I had an account here after two years of not posting here.
The willingness to walk away and mean it
Some have pointed out my extremely low post count despite it being a four-year-old account. Aside from nearly forgetting the fact that I even had an account here in the first place, I believe if I start regularly posting here, I will start getting a bit too emotionally invested in this site. Just like how when you go to a fighting gym, people recommend you “leave your ego at the doorstep”, it is probably ideal to leave your sentimentality outside this site. Although this is pretty much impossible for most people here, so instead they make it their home.
The point is by not overcommitting to this site, I still have the willingness to walk away. But if I start regularly posting and relying on this site for dopamine, I’ll eventually develop a scarcity mindset, and that’s a nightmare in every realm of life. This is especially so when it comes to dealing with women.
I’ll probably be long gone before I am no longer a greycel (I’d be surprised if I even reach triple-digit post count), and I intend on quietly disappearing rather than making some announcement thread cause who gives a fuck JFL. I think making a “goodbye” thread makes me feel like I’m romanticizing this site, treating it like a church almost. I’d be giving it more respect than it “deserves”. After all, it’s just an incel forum
The people who benefit from this site
This is really personal and subjective, but IMO the type of users who derive the most benefit from this site are blackpillers. I can’t imagine a type of person who wastes more time here than a closeted cuckedditor. The blackpill speaks for itself and their ad hominem won’t change reality one bit. Tons of users here aren’t nuanced enough in their thinking to understand “take everything useful and leave out all the rest.” Instead, they let their emotions take control of them upon seeing the first thing they disagree with. If you disagree with what someone has written, you’re better off ignoring it altogether than bumping it for it to get even more views. Although that is already a huge ask since many users on this site have amoeba tier sentience. Some people are just never meant to be reasoned with at any point in their lives. If you're gonna rot on this site indefinitely, at least be a blackpiller and stop with the copes holy shit.
We cannot control what users choose to write here, but we can control how we react to it as cheesy as it sounds. It’s like how people often say to “separate the art from the artist”. Yet many cannot do so and instead get emotional and “disown” the artist’s work because they found out they’re a “terrible person”. Maybe unless you’re a mod/staff, we have no true obligations to anyone here. Any exception is basically charity. Even if you have a positive interaction here, it might not be the same tomorrow, so don’t jinx it by getting too giddy, fruitcake.
TL;DR: We sometimes find ourselves seeing something better than it actually is. Holding onto an idealized, distorted version of it in our minds. And the more we try to deny the reality of it, the more we feel burdened. People on this site tend to rot for the validation of others, and it’s quite apparent when people worry about how many posts they’ve made and the color of their name, on an incel site. Users on this site are generally not “good” people and arguing here is pretty much a waste of time. Therefore, just like when we are advised to leave our "egos” on the doorstep of a fighting gym, it would be prudent to leave our emotions outside this site (emotional detachment). At the end of the day, I think the best way to use this site is to take everything useful and filter out anything you deem useless. This mindset can be applied not just on this site but anywhere else on the internet if not IRL.

Effortless action (Wu wei) is the logical response to the blackpill
Wu wei (effortless action) There’s a concept that no one really talks about enough and that is the ancient Chinese concept of “Wu wei”. This concept basically means “effortless action”, and is the practice of not taking any action that is not in accord with the natural course of the universe. I...
