IQ is cope. If you were born in upper class it's all experience and motivation to study.

In India, isnt it really hard to fail an exam?

is a 57 a failing grade there?

also mirin that iq, I wish mine was that high. I wish I had a supernaturally high iq around the 160+ mark with high psl looks.

Any studies to back up your claim?
I have some but it may not be what you're looking for
Map

Casselman chetty 2

Combined sample untransformed scatter

Upper class will have a much higher IQ on average than middle class. IQ is 40-60% hereditary.

Probably upgringing of children has the a big impact on IQ as well.

Definitely not

People often think they are high IQ.
Atleast 50% of people in school think that they are smart but don't apply themselves. That's just some bullshit cope that their t achers tell them to motivate them.

If you are higher IQ you will know where your priorities are. You can be a slacker but still be high IQ, but it's a rare scenario imo

Most high iq people gravitate towards science imo. They are also more likely to be more open to learning new things

Science or STEM in general? Idk about gravitation but I'm pretty sure higher IQ people will Excel at math due to better pattern recognition

IQ is strongly correlated with educational attainment but I don’t really know tbf, the heritability of IQ increases with age as well so maybe not

No, that's not a good assumption to make.

The fact is that different levels of IQ manifest themselves differently in the world.

There are many arguments that I can use against your statement:
1. All colleges, schools and universities are all inclined towards the "average". Their teaching material, examinations, scoring criteria are all designed for the average person in the class. Any high IQ person who is much farther from that average would not even find studying and school interesting and would just get bored by them. Case in point, myself, I always found school boring. It's always the same material that the repeat over and over again, dumbed down for the average person to understand. This is irrespective of how reputed the school or college is.

2. The nature of teaching and evaluation itself is flawed. Almost all the stuff you learn in school is about rote memorization and then using mediocre thinking skills (the level of the average person) to understand the material. You never actually learn how to think, or how something contributes to the greater nature of the universe or existence.

3. Divergent thinking: A truly high IQ person, genius, thinks in a divergent manner, ie how different things connect together with each other, and that there are fundamental patterns in the universe. Schools and grades are all about learning only one thing (because that's all the mental capacity the average population has got)

4. Communication range: A person's communication range is limited to +/- 15 IQ points from their own baseline. So, in a class almost all people will be within 2 SD IQ of each other. You won't find people of any higher or any lower intelligence there.

5. My +1 SD theory: Almost anything which is distributed as a normal curve, there is always an optimal point which is the "best" position. Generally this point lies at a +1 standard deviation. So in a class, the top scorers are all just +1SD above the class average. A person with +2SD won't even be interested in those things, and would find excitement from other subjects, and would score low in that class if he somehow even exists in that class.

So again, higher grades never means that a person is higher IQ. Not to mention that other than IQ there are loads of other factors which determines grades. The kind of support you get, educational materials you can afford, your studying environment, and many other environmental factors.
